Business Management

• Assist with project management for Fit City and its clients (including workshops, partnerships, events, social campaigns, etc.)
• Work with other staff to implement projects and plans
• Contribute to the team’s efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Marketing

• Help distribute marketing materials (magazines) to local businesses
• Attend client meetings and photoshoots
• Document behind the scenes for various marketing and pr efforts
• Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach through print and our digital publication
• Attend networking and social events
• Aid in maintaining client relationships

Social Media

• Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
• Update website every issue with current content.
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
• Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas, and memes, then capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts
• Assist the social media coordinator in posts and stories

Personal Development

• Internship Top 5 (on your first day we will identify 5 goals for you to achieve over the course of the internship. each goal will have 2-3 tactics of how you will reach these goals. don’t worry, we will help you with this! but it doesn’t hurt to start thinking about it.)
• Career Exploration
• One on one meetings with the CEO
• Internship Recap Report (on your last day you will submit a recap report that reflects on your summer internship experience.)
